HEAD COACH & ASSISTANT COACHES
Impact the lives of children by using your gifts and talents to teach the fundamentals of the game as well as sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, and respect for authority.  You never coached before?  Don't worry; Upward Sports will provide you with all the resources necessary to teach the sport, share life lessons, and coach your team.  Time commitment: 1 hour of practice and 1 hour of game each week.

REFEREE
Do you have a passion for the game and working knowledge of the rules of the game?  If so, use your gift to make an impact in the lives of the children as an Upward referee.  Time commitment:  1 hour a week on Saturday (depending on how many games you referee).

SCOREBOARD ATTENDANT
Enjoy the thrill of the game, but don't know much about basketball other than a point is scored when the ball goes in the hoop? If so, you can still make an impact in the lives of the children by keeping the scoreboards updated for K-2 grade. Time commitment:  1 hour a week on Saturday (depending on how many games you attend).

LEADING GAME DAY DEVOTIONS
Impact the lives of the children by sharing a devotion at half-time.  Devotions are centered on one of the biblical virtues that the children are learning in practice.  Devotions are already written out for you or you can choose to share your own.  Time commitment: 10 minutes.
