My passion and purpose is to make Jesus known. This plays out in my roles as wife to my love Zac, mom to three little ladies, job in the CPA finance industry, and daily opportunities to serve His church and point others to Jesus. I’ve had the blessing of leading others in worship and teaching God’s Word to women at conferences and churches, and am always humbled that He can use anyone, even an imperfect gal like me, to make Him known.

I have been married to my husband Marty for almost thirty four years and we have four wonderful children, and two precious grandsons so far. I enjoy singing and worshipping the Lord as I serve in the music ministry through Choir and Praise Team here at Village. I’m so grateful for God’s faithfulness in my life and blessed that He allows me the opportunity to use my gifts forHis glory.

Working as the administrative assistant, I have been given the opportunity to interact with our members and part of our community each day. I have been here at Village for 4 years now and am blessed to be married to our Youth Pastor. Together, we have one precious 2 year old boy, Ezra, and he has brought so much joy to our life! I have spent my young adult life falling in love with Jesus and I am passionate about coming alongside other women learning how to study God's word and delight in Him! My desire is that all women would walk away knowing their worth in Christ and that His steadfast love will never fail us!

I get excited about meeting God in His Word and even more excited to come alongside others, teaching them to study the Bible with that same goal in mind. I served with Bible Study Fellowship for many years and in various capacities. It’s my current privilege to serve at Village with the High School Girls life-group that meets on Sunday mornings. I’m married to Bill Wiggs, whom I met when I was 8 years old, and we have two adult children and we will celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary this year!

Teaching is my passion and God has graciously provided opportunities while serving in the military for 35 years, as active duty and a civilian and at VBC as a Life Group leader and women's Bible studies facilitator. I am a single mom of 2 young adult men, breast cancer survivor and all about health and fitness. Life has shown me "all things are possible with God" and "through His strength I can do all things."

I'm happiest when I am teaching the Word of God. I have been blessed to be a Sunday School and Life Group teacher at Village for over 35 years. It is a joy to share with others what God is teaching me. I believe God has used the skills I have acquired as an attorney to better equip me to teach and serve Him.

I love serving in the choir here at Village as well as being a member of the planning committee for Villagers & Martha ministry. My husband, Joe, and I were high school sweethearts and have been married 62 years. 23 of those years were spent as an Army Special Forces wife. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. We joined Village in 2000 and have been active serving our Village family in numerous ways.

We are excited to jump into "Women of the Word" by Jen Wilkin this summer learning how to study the Bible with our hearts and minds!

JAMES | The Steadfast Life

Starting on Thursday, July 6th, we are excited to jump into a new study of James using the Daily Grace Co study! We will jump into various topics like pursuing joy in suffering, displaying good works by faith, and seeking wisdom in truth. These are all things that we desire to do as believers. The book of James shows us how we can submit ourselves to God and live in such a way that displays the grace given to us through Christ. This 7 week study of the book of James will unpack practical theology, apply the gospel to trials, temptations, and everyday life, encourage you to be a 'doer' of the Word!

BIBLE IN A YEAR
with Women of The Village
starting august 27th

This Fall, we are so excited to present Women in our church family with the opportunity to walk through the entirety of God's word together! We will tackle the Bible in a Year and gather weekly to discuss what God's word is teaching us and hold one another accountable to staying on track! This will be an amazing opportunity to apply everything you learn at ABIDE, and we can't wait to jump in head first with you!
